Manav Charitable Hospital, or MCH, is a mainstream General Hospital situated on the outskirts of Bangalore, adjacent to the world famous Jindal Nature cure Institute. Established in 1990, the hospital is primarily devoted to serving the weaker section of the society with the objective of bringing quality medical care to the doorsteps of the local poor.
MCH is a day care hospital, equipped with most modern medical devices to offer best in class treatment at almost no cost for the poor, who cannot afford quality medical care.
Specialty consultation is available at free of charges for all. However, laboratory and other diagnostics are charged at nominal rate. The activities at MCH includes providing treatment to an average of 1,800 – 2000 out-patients a day. These patients are from the weaker section of the society, mostly coming from surrounding villages but quite a few also from distant places, Day-care services include drips, observation and many such more facilities as mentioned below:
Apart from the above, the hospital has 6 mobile vans with specialties like dental, eye-care Vans, all of which go out every day and covers the inmost recesses of rural areas serving around 2000 patients a day.
