Obesity can worsen or even cause hypertension in different ways. Obesity also makes it difficult to treat hypertension due to other related health conditions. Since people with obesity tend to have a higher proportion of visceral fat – fat around the midsection, it puts extra pressure on the abdominal organs and increases stress on the cardiovascular system. This extra pressure often leads to resistant hypertension or uncontrolled blood pressure.

Abhinavan Naidu,54 (name changed) had been feeling quite unwell when he reported his condition to Jindal Naturecure Institute. The comprehensive treatment program cleansed the patient’s internal systems, drastically improved his metabolism and facilitated fat burning. The patient has now considerably improved strength and stamina. By the end of the program, he had improved kidney function, lost 9.8 kg of weight and achieved much better control over his blood pressure.

“We closely monitored the condition of the patient and analyzed his medical reports to come up with a customized treatment plan. We opted for a gradual approach, starting with a standardized cleansing protocol designed to help get rid of the toxins out of his system. We used different types of detoxification treatments like the application of a mud pack, hot water bag facial steam, enema, oil therapy, sauna bath with chest pack, salt glow therapy pack along with hydrotherapies like underwater therapy and graduated immersion bath with salt and immersion bath with neem. During the treatment, we focus on cleansing, correcting the posture and muscle toning. It is done by treatments like colon hydrotherapy, enema massages, mud pack and water treatments”, said Dr Vinodha Kumary, deputy chief medical officer, Jindal Naturecure Institute.

Hydrotherapy helps in improving blood circulation, increasing the flexibility of the muscles and reducing weight. It also assists in burning increased calories in order to maintain body temperature under the water. Therapeutic packs help to get rid of the excess body fat on the abdominal region and have a diuretic effect which in turn controls the blood pressure levels and also normalizes gastric secretions. All these therapies together work to improve the overall functioning of the body.
