With coronavirus pandemic disrupting our fitness regime, people are hardly paying attention to their physical activity and diet. Leading naturopathy hospital, Jindal Naturecure Institute has announced to organize a 14-day long free online yoga sessions for the working population. These sessions are designed to help people take care of their immune system while managing their professional commitments from home during the times of nationwide lockdown. People can take these sessions at 7 am every day from 1st April by visiting the institute’s Facebook page- https://www.facebook.com/JindalNatureCure/.

The institute has assigned this responsibility to keep people healthy, to a team of Yoga experts headed by chief yoga officer, Dr. Rajeev Rajesh. Shivajee Agarwal, Deepika Dikshit, and Latha Reddy are the other yoga experts who will be taking these sessions. The masters of Yoga have been working with Jindal Naturecure Institute from over years. The sessions will cover simple yoga asanas including Tadasana, Trikonasana, Vakasana, Bhujangasanato etc to boost your energy level and help in improving the body’s internal functions, relieving congestion, improve mobility, etc. Yoga should always be practiced under the guidance of a certified yoga trainer which is not possible during the lockdown. Hence, the institute decided to come to the rescue. These sessions will also act as a credible source of learning for beginners.

“Regular exercise is one of the cornerstones of a healthy immune system. If you are in the habit of exercising daily but find yourself unable to do so because of mobility restrictions, then yoga is the perfect solution. Also, when working at home people become lazy and binge-eat. In fact, there are added responsibilities and distractions, and if you do not follow a regime, it can wreak havoc on your physical and mental health. That’s why we have come up with this yoga session for those who are working from home to support the economy. Yoga not only offers great flexibility when it comes to indoor exercise options but also helps resist the impairment of the immune system. The immune system is an army that marches on the strength of your stomach. Immune cells need good food and nourishment. The best line of defense is to stick to a healthy lifestyle. Your immune system functions a lot better when it is protected from environmental irritants,” said Dr. Rajeev Rajesh, Chief Yoga Officer, Jindal Naturecure Institute.
